Intex has introduced an upgraded variant of the Aqua Q7 smartphone, the Aqua Q7 Pro. Priced at Rs. 4,190, the Intex Aqua Q7 Pro is now listed on the company’s site. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the smartphone but we can expect the handset to go on sale soon. To recall, the Intex Aqua Q7 smartphone was launched last month at Rs. 3,777.
The dual-SIM Intex Aqua Q7 Pro comes with identical specifications to the Aqua Q7. The biggest difference between the two handsets is that the new Aqua Q7 Pro packs 1GB of RAM. The Intex Aqua Q7, on the other hand, came with just 512MB of RAM.
The dual-SIM Intex Aqua Q7 Pro runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display with a pixel density of 320ppi. The new Intex smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 SoC. Sporting a 2-megapixel rear camera, the Aqua Q7 Pro features a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It bears 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (32GB). Connectivity options include 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Notably, the handset supports 3G only on one SIM card.
Measuring 135x66x9.5mm, the Aqua Q7 Pro is backed by a 2000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 250 hours of standby time and up to 7 hours of talk-time. It bears an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The handset weighs 106 grams. Some of the preloaded apps include Matrabhasa, Follo, Quikr, Intex Play, Opera Mini, Clean Master, and Newshunt.
