Asus ZenFone Zoom finally goes up for pre-order in the US, shipping on February 1

After more than a year since its initial introduction, the Asus ZenFone Zoom is now actually close to becoming available in the US. The handset has so far been released in Taiwan, and it was recently revealed to be making the jump to the US sometime in February.

That hasn’t changed, but starting today you can pre-order one if you so wish. It turns out that the phone will be exclusive to B&H stateside. The retailer will let you pre-order one for $399. That price is for an unlocked unit of course. The ZenFone Zoom is set to start shipping on February 1.

As a quick reminder, the device sports a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.7-f/4.8 aperture, dual-LED flash, laser autofocus, 3x optical zoom, and optical image stabilization. It also has a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, the Intel Atom Z3580 SoC (with a 2.3 GHz quad-core CPU), 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE support, a 5 MP front-facing camera, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
