Jio Phone, iPhone 8, and Redmi Note 4 were India’s top three trending mobiles of 2017, Google has finally revealed.
We are just few weeks away from end of 2017 and almost every company is coming out with its list of top trending things of the year. Google has already revealed its top trending searches of 2017 as well as consumer tech. We, however, were most curious about the top trending mobiles and it’s finally out.

According to Google India’s top trending mobile phones of 2017 list, iPhone 8 topped the charts while the Redmi Note 4 came second. Jio Phone, the feature phone marketed as the “India ka smartphone,” has been ranked third in the top trending India list of 2017.
Another Xiaomi smartphone which was recently unveiled, the Redmi 5A, has also made it to the list and is ranked fourth. The Chinese company unveiled the Xiaomi Redmi 5A in December and has been marketed as the “Desh ka smartphone.”

The OnePlus 5 has also made it to the list and is ranked fifth in top trending mobiles of 2017. Apple’s first smartphone with edge-to-edge display, iPhone X, is sixth on the list. HMD Global’s comeback smartphone for the iconic Nokia brand, the Nokia 6, has also made it to the list and is seventh on the top trending mobile phones of 2017.
Vivo has managed to get two phones on the top 10 trending mobiles list: the Vivo V7 Plus is at eighth spot while the Vivo V5 is the last of the top 10 list. Oppo has not missed out from the trending list and its Oppo F5 is ranked ninth.
