Rumours around OnePlus 6T are growing strong with each passing day. Although the firm has not yet mentioned anything about the handset, a recent report citing people ‘familiar with the plans’ suggested the handset’s arrival imminent. Building on those claims is the new regulatory agency that has listed a new smartphone codenamed ‘OnePlus A6013’, which is said to be the OnePlus 6T.
The smartphone is said to be the rumoured OnePlus 6T as the OnePlus 6 and 5T were codenamed A6000 and A5010. Based on the sequence of codenamed given to models, the ‘OnePlus A6013’ could probably be the OnePlus 6T. The smartphone has been certified by EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t reveal much about the handset.
However, according to a recent report, OnePlus 6T may go on sale via T-Mobile for $550, which is slightly more than what the OnePlus 6 costs in the region.
Whenever the smartphone arrives, one can expect it to feature the best of specifications onboard. The smartphone may not be sporting any notches this time. However, the Optic AMOLED 6.2-inch FHD+ display type may be there.
In terms of processor, one can expect the smartphone to feature the latest mobile processor that is available in the market – Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor if not better.
In all likeliness, the handset could be running Android 9.0 Pie as OnePlus 6 is already a part of Android 9.0 Pie beta program. The treatment given to the RAM options of the OnePlus 6T could probably be the same as what is given to OnePlus 6 – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM.
Better rear cameras and may be a pop-up front-facing camera could come on board.
While there’s no confirmation on the date or the device’s existence itself, since we have OnePlus introducing its ‘T’ handset variants in November and December since past few years, the same launch time frame could be expected for the OnePlus 6T as well.
