Technology for the classroom that can teach you something new

Back-to-school technology usually conjures up images of tablets, laptops (especially the best laptops for students), and Chromebooks—digital devices that allow you to conduct research, compose assignments, and turn them in—as well as laptop bags that can hold these gadgets in addition to your books.

Software such as Microsoft Office suite (Word for essays, OneDrive for cloud storage and assignment access, Teams for online learning and collaboration) or Google Classroom may come to mind.

It’s also common for schools to offer applications that you can download to your phone, provided you’re permitted to use one in class, to stay informed about forthcoming trips, assignments, detentions, and class schedules.
