The Honor 7 in India will be receiving the long-awaited Marshmallow update, however, you must first register your Honor 7 online with your IMEI and current software version.
The Honor 7 sports a 1080p, 5.2 inch display powered by Huawei’s 64-bit Kirin 935 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The camera features a 6 lens setup made with sapphire glass and a 20MP sensor.
The company has a Google form link where one can submit the handset’s information, then, within the next couple of days, the OTA will be pushed and downloaded to the device.
To find your software version, you can go into the Settings app, then tap About Phone and the software version looks something like PLK-UL00C67…… . You can also get the IMEI number by heading into the dialer and punching in *#06# and then pressing the “CALL” button.
