A prize pool of over Rs 13 crore
The PUBG Mobile Club Open is an year-long event with a prize pool for $2 million (over Rs 13 crore). The competition would see both pro and semi-pro teams from 10 regions across the globe battling it out for the coveted biggest chicken dinner of them all.
The competition is split into the Spring Split and Fall Split with both having separate prize pools.
The Spring Split schedule
The Spring Split will begin from the online qualification round (Crew Challenge) that will take place from March 22 to March 31. It will be followed by the regional group round (32 crews) that will run from April 26 to May 5 and then the regional semifinals (24 crews) from May 10 to May 19. The regional finals would take place from May 20 to June 14 followed by the Spring Split Global Finals in July 2019.
The Fall Split schedule
The registrations for Fall Split begin from August followed by the online qualification round and the regional group round (32 crews) in the same month. The regional semifinals (24 crews) will be played in October followed by the regional finals (16 crews) in November. The Fall Split Global Finals will take place in December.
Eligibility criteria for PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019
To be eligible for this competition, you should have achieved at least Platinum rank at the end of the last season. Plus, parental consent is needed for the players under the local legal age. Each team must have at least three players from the region they will be representing.
The registrations have already commenced from March 8 and will continue till March 18 and can be done through the PUBG Mobile website.
