Asus Launches New ROG Gaming Laptops in India: Price, Specifications

Expanding its Republic of Gamers (ROG) lineup of gaming laptops in India, Asus on Wednesday unveiled ROG Strix HERO edition, SCAR edition gaming notebooks, and Strix GL503 gaming laptop, starting at Rs. 92,990. The Taiwanese tech giant also introduced Asus Gaming FX503 notebook that will be available at Rs. 69,990 (starting price). Both are available across online and offline stores in India.

“E-sports is gaining tremendous popularity in the country. The new series delights not only those who care about performance but also those who demand great aesthetics, thus enabling E-sports contenders to gain the winning edge, Arnold Su, National Business Development Manager, PC and Gaming,” said in a statement.

With a desktop-style keyboard layout, N-key rollover and fast-actuating keys, ROG Strix SCAR edition features an Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 series graphics cards, and a 144Hz display. A 120Hz display variant will be made available as well.

ROG Strix HERO edition features Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 10 series graphics cards and runs Windows 10 OS. It packs a 120Hz wide-view IPS display and a desktop-style keyboard with N-key rollover for fast, precise response to every input.

ROG Strix GL503 sports a keyboard layout inspired by desktop designs, featuring four hotkeys and four customisable RGB-backlit zones. It has an ergonomic 0.25mm-deep keycap curve with ROG-exclusive overstroke technology.

The device also has a thermal design that employs heat pipes and dual 12V fans to automatically adjust the cooling system.

Asus Gaming FX503 houses a Intel i7-7700HQ procesosr and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics. The intelligent dual-fan cooling design enables intense gaming sessions without throttling, the company claimed.
